GEOPRISE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION is the sole owner of all personally identifiable contact information collected from you on WWW.GEOPRISE.COM for the purposes described in the Uses of Information section, whether or not we respond to your contact request.

Registration

In order to use some Geoprise services or portions of this Web site, you may first have to complete the appropriate registration forms and create a user name and password. During registration you are required to give contact information including your name, telephone number, billing address, email address, organization name and the GS1 Global Company Prefix or D-U-N-S® number of your organization, if any. We use this information to uniquely identify your organization and to contact you about the services on our site which you have purchased or in which you have expressed interest.

After you successfully register, you will receive an email message confirming your registration, your user name, the registration or account number (if any) that we assigned to you, the services you purchased (if any), the payment method that you selected for those purchases, the amounts and billing frequencies for those purchases, and a Geoprise-assigned Participant ID for your organization (if you did not provide your organization's GS1 Global Company Prefix or D-U-N-S number with your registration).

GEOPRISE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION collects personally identifiable information from our registered users at several different points on our Web site. GEOPRISE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION is the sole owner of all personally identifiable registration, financial, profile and service usage information collected from you on WWW.GEOPRISE.COM for the purposes described in the Uses of Information section. You and/or your business organization are the sole owner of all other information you store in a blockchain or your Virtual Private Database using Geoprise services, if any, even when that Virtual Private Database is operated by us or our third-party service provider.

Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, billing address and telephone number) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and security code).

We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

After you successfully register to purchase Geoprise services, you will receive an email message confirming your registration, your user name and password, the account number that we assigned to you, the services you purchased, the payment method that you selected for those purchases, and the amounts and billing frequencies for those purchases. In addition, whenever we bill you, you will receive an email message containing an invoice describing the services billed, the amounts billed for those services, and the currency in which those amounts are billed. If you previously agreed to pay for these amounts by credit card, and we successfully processed the billed amounts, the email message will also confirm the date and amounts processed. If you previously agreed to pay for these amounts by credit card, but we were unable to process the billed amounts successfully, the email message will request you to update your billing address and/or financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and security code) and will also advise you of the deadline for updating this information to assure uninterrupted availability of the Geoprise services you purchased.

Surveys

From time-to-time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and telephone number), and demographic information (such as country, region and postal/ZIP code).

We use this information to monitor site traffic, identify new market opportunities for Geoprise services, and continually upgrade the services we offer in the marketplace.

We may use a third party service provider to conduct these surveys; that company will be prohibited from using our users’ personally identifiable information for any other purpose.

Refer-A-Friend

If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. GEOPRISE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.

Your friend may contact us at unrefer@geoprise.com to request that we remove this information from our database.

Uses of Information

GEOPRISE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION uses the information submitted by users of this site solely for the purposes of responding to queries or comments submitted to Geoprise by visitors to its Web site, selling Geoprise services to its customers, billing its customers for these services, collecting payment for amounts that it bills its customers, tracking and resolving problems that its customers encounter when using Geoprise services, assisting its customers in using Geoprise services, providing forums for public discussion between its customers on the use of Geoprise services, and continually upgrading Geoprise services by monitoring which features are used, and how. GEOPRISE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION also uses aggregate (non-personally identifiable) information for the same purposes.

Profile

Geoprise services store information that we collect from you or through cookies to create a “profile” of your preferences. This profile includes your written language, current time zone and theme/style preferences. We tie your personally identifiable information to information in the profile so the Geoprise services you purchased perform according to your preferences.

We do not share your profile with other third parties, except service providers who host Geoprise services. Those third parties are forbidden to the extent allowed by governing law to share your profile with anyone other than GEOPRISE TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION.

Supplementation of Information

In order to provide Geoprise services to you, we may on occasion supplement the personal information you submitted to us with information from third party sources.

Credit Card Processing

We use your name, billing address, credit card type, credit card number, credit card expiration date and credit card security code to verify the financial information you provide us, and to settle the amounts we bill you for the Geoprise services you have purchased. Once we verify the financial information or successfully process each credit card transaction, we destroy all documents we receive from the credit card issuer except those that we require to track payments from our customers.

Name and Address Verification

We may use third parties such as GS1 or Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) to verify your name and address, and/or the name and address of your business, in order to comply with applicable governing laws and to prevent fraudulent or criminal use of our Web site and/or Geoprise services.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)

We do not share aggregated demographic information about our user base with anyone.

We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.

When you sign up for Geoprise services, we will share your contact information and preferences as necessary for the third party to provide those services.
